Insta month #4

I can't believe it's already June! May have been so crazy! I've done a lot of travel, a week in sunny Rome and four days in lovely Amsterdam. I have also been to lots of parties and different events both with friends and family. One of my friends aunt is a very well known celebrity interior designer, and she invited me and my friends to a spring-garden party. The weather was amazing so we had a bonfire with marshmallows and One Direction music. I can only say it was an almost magical and very very Tumblr moment (#goals). Just a few days later I was with my entire class on our way to Rome. And Rome was very hot and sunny and ofc. amazing. We did a lot of shopping and it was just super fun being on vacation with all of my classmates. A week after I got back from Rome, I was already traveling again, this time with my mom to Amsterdam. The city is super cute and again we spend most of the time shopping. So that's what I've been doing this month.

Have a super lovely day...

Amsterdam photo diary

Amsterdam was AMAZING! I wish I could go back, but unfortunately my finals are just around the corner so I can't really just not go to school. While I was in Amsterdam I tried to take some pictures for my photo diary, and here is the result.

Have a wonderful friday tomorrow...

A day in my life - Amsterdam

If you follow me on Instagram (which you btw totally should), you probably know that I'm in Amsterdam right now. But... I'm already leaving tomorrow which is so incredibly sad, because the city so so lovely and I think I'm in love. Anyways I thought it would be fun to show you what a typical day looks like for me when I'm traveling.

DIY with stickers...

Yesterday I went to the craft store and picked up lots of things. I was about to pay, when some ridiculously cute stickers caught my eye. I normally don't buy stickers because who really does that? Wasn't it something we all did in like kindergarten? I don't really know, but anyway I got home and decided that I wanted to do something with my stickers. Therefore I started to put them on different objects and the result was pretty amazing:

Birthday cards
I was later that day going to two birthday parties, so I decided to spice my DIY birthday cards up with some stickers. It was super easy and it literally looked so adorable and cute.

Room decor #1
Then I decided to put stickers around a frame. The result was again super cute, and the frame looked brand new.

Room decor #2
I simply couldn't stop myself from putting stickers on my furniture. And it turned out so so cute! I can't even believe it...

And what happened next....
So after I was done with putting stickers on everything I was kind of bored. I didn't have anything else I could put my stickers on, therefore I decided to... kind of put them on my face. Okay that was kind of weird.

Have a lovely Sunday...

OOTD - Lazy Saturday

I'll be honest with you right now: hate being in front of the camera. Okay maybe hate is a too strong word, but at least I don't enjoy it much. I like much more to stand behind the camera and in my comfort zone.

Anyways today I decided to show you my outfit aka. OOTD, which consist of a super soft and comfortable t-shirt from Brandy Melville, my beloved Adidas Superstars and these lovely black ripped jeans from Zara.

What I ate today...

I LOVE watching what other people do in the mornings, before they go to sleep or what they eat... I don't know why but I just find it very interesting and entertaining. I somehow compare myself to them without actually comparing myself, if that makes sense... Anyways I like to do that, but it's in a good way I promise. In fact is maybe silly and a little creepy to get into other peoples life like that, but I think it's fun. Therefore today I will show you what I ate. For some people it may be too much, for some it may be too little, but for me it's the perfect amount of food.
Right now I'm on my spring break and in fact I think that when I go to school I eat way more. Probably because I'm being more active and need more energy.
Anyways I love food almost as much as I love Harry Styles, so this is what I ate today:

For breakfast I ate some homemade pancakes with oats and honey (instead of sugar) to make them "healthy". I also drank an ice coffee and ate some blueberries. I know that the pancakes are not the healthiest breakfast option, but they were so delicious and they filled me up, so I don't regret eating them.
That's an Instagram worthy breakfast. --->

And because I'm obsessed with blueberries at the moment I also ate them at lunch, with a salmon - philadelphia "sandwich". The weather was pretty good today so I decided to sit outside and eat my lunch while watching YouTube videos on my iPad. Besides that I also drank some ice water and again an ice coffee this time with a little vanilla coffee syrup in it. I must say that I had a very nice lunch despite the fact that I was alone and didn't really have anybody to talk to.

I had plenty of time today so I decided last minute that I wanted to make sushi - which also is my favourite food. It took a while (almost 2 hours!) but it tasted AMAZING and I was actually very proud of myself. Even my mom said that it tasted almost like at the restaurant. The sushi was also super super filling and I was actually not really hungry later at night.

Even though I wasn't hungry at all I made myself some popcorn. Shame on you Alexa! But I wanted to watch a movie and you obviously (haha) need to eat popcorn while watching movies so it wasn't even an option not to.
Btw I watched Love, Rosie starring Lily Collins, Sam Claflin and Suki Waterhouse. If you haven't already watched it you definitely should, it's a super cute story based on the novel Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern.
So the popcorns were defiantly a must!

...And that was what I ate today

Rome photo diary

Just came back after a week with my classmates in Rome. Some people say it doesn't matter where you travel but who you travel with. And it's so true! To be honest with you Rome isn't my favourite city, sure it's beautiful and obviously a place you must visit, but there are cities I enjoy much more like Barcelona or London. Even through that I think this was the best trip I ever was on, because I was with my friends and we just had fun and spend a lot of good time together.
We also saw some of the cultural attractions like Saint Peter's Basilica, Pantheon, Forum Romanum and ate lots of pizza, pasta and ice cream.
I took some pictures that I want to share with you...
Also make sure to follow me on snapchat. My username is miss_alex3 and please don't judge me I know that the username is horrible.

Have a great monday...

How to travel in style

How to travel in style
In a couple of hours I'll be on my way to Rome with my classmates. Actually I should probably go to sleep now instead of sitting in front of my computer since I have to get up pretty early tomorrow (in 4 hours to be more precisely). However I don't think that I can fall asleep anyways now, so I can just blog instead. When we come back from Rome I'll be traveling to Amsterdam with my mom. I have never been in Amsterdam before so I'm pretty excited to see the city. We will actually stay in a apartment from Airbnb so we in that way can experience the Amsterdam peoples style and culture more.
Anyways when I'm traveling (be airplane of course) I love to look as stylish as possible. By that I don't mean wearing dresses and heels. Even though I once wore my black high heeled ankle boot and feel every beautiful while going with my suitcase through the airport. Afterward my feet were screaming in pain but I think it was worth it.

Here are some tips on how to look super stylish while traveling and some airport style inspiration.
Psst... today I'll be wearing my Adidas Superstars, white skinny jeans, a denim jacket, a t-shirt from Zara as well as my oversized scarf, sunglasses and a black handbag.

My top 6 airplane style tips:

Don't fly without an oversized scarf

Never say never to skinny jeans

Avoid jewelry - wear a classic watch instead

Keep your look simple

Hide tired eyes under with sunglasses

Bring a big but chic leather handbag for all of your essentials

Have a great day and a wonderful week.

Insta month #3

I can't believe it's already May! I've been waiting on this month for so long. Soon I'll be flying to Rome and later Amsterdam, attending birthday parties and going to different events. May is always a busy month for me; I have to prepare myself for my exams, always a lot of travel and ballet and violin shows.
But if I have to be honest with you, April was pretty busy and stressful to.
After I came back from Italy I found out that unfortunately my grandpa passed away. Since my family lives in another country we flew to his funeral. Before that I managed to go to the hairdresser so I could get some highlights. After we came home and I started school again I had so much homework. Every day I stayed up till late night and did homework so I could keep up with my classmates. That's why I didn't blog much in April.
Later in my mom had some work in Washington so of course she got me the newest issue of the American Vogue which I of course read instead of doing my homework.

So that's pretty much what I've been up to in April.

Have a lovely weekend...

The best hand creams

I have a serious problem: I can't (and by that I mean I really really really can't) survive one day without hand cream. My hands get extremely dry especially if I wash them… and when I basically wash my hands all the time you can figure out that I also need my hand cream all the time.
As much as I need my hand cream I love to try out new hand creams so you can pretty much call me a hand cream expert. No, I'm just kidding (not really).
Unfortunately I don't have a lot of hand creams that actually works and leave my hand soft and moisturized. Here are my all time 4 favourite hand creams.

Korres - Moisturizing hand cream with organic Almond oil & Calendula
I'm going to be honest with you. My friends say that it smells even through they always want to borrow some when I have it with me. I myself like the smell pretty much. It's nice but kind of special - definitely not for everyone. Besides that the hand cream is perfect, both the consistency and the result that I get after using the Korres hand cream.
Sephora - $14.50

The undercut obsession

Normally I'm not the biggest fan of short hair also I was not a big fan of the popular sidecut hairstyle. However when I saw Rosamunde Pike at the Oscars 2015 red carpet at the I instantly fell in love with the undercut (to be more precisely her undercut).
I love the different ways you can style an undercut and also the fact than when you wear your hair down you can barely see it. In my opinion Rosamunde's hair is perfect but in a original way. Also I admire the way she can wear such a punk hairstyle and yet look so glamorous, elegant and girly.

1 dress - 3 outfits

Oh yes... I'm feeling SO pretty right now - sitting in front of my desk with my wannabe Harvard sweatshirt and yoga pant while easting homemade cream brûlée (btw it's ridiculously good). The thing I'm going to write about now is yet a little more glamorous.
In April-May-June I always have a lot of parties whenever it's at school, birthday parties or confirmations. Im always having the same problem - I stand in front of my closet wondering what to wear?
I usually don't have the money to buy a bunch of new dresses for every occasion but I wouldn't either never ever wear the same dress as I wore last year… so what to do?
The solution: buy 1 inexpensive dress and dress it up or down depending on the occasion.
Below I have 3 examples on 3 different outfits with one the same dress.

Birthday party
This style is defiantly the most casual of the 3 outfits. I've chosen to style the dress with a super adorable furry crossover bag to make the outfit more fun. Also I added cute pastel brogues to dress it down a little.
Dress: Warehouse
Shoes: H&M
Bag: Topshop
Ring: Topshop

My top saving tips for broke teenagers

Money, money, money
Must be funny in the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny in the rich man's world
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich mans world

Raise your hand if you sometimes(always) don't have enough money to buy your dream Mulberry bag, some lovely Acne jeans or just clothes. People say that money can't buy you happiness (and they are right), but the can for sure buy you a new pair of gorgeous stilettos, which for me is the same.

And trust me I know how it feels to be a poor teenager always dreaming about more money. Therefore I've selected my top tips on how you can save your money and use them on something great - like a new bag.

Pretty in pink

I will get straight to the point - pink is my favourite color. Every Wednesday I do my best and try to remember to put on something pink (Yes, I'm a big fan of Mean Girls). Although where I live everybody is super mainstream with their black turtlenecks and white Nike Air Force (or Adidas superstars) so sometimes I feel like a total outsider while wearing my hot pink shirt or weird printed pants.
Besides that it's still my absolute most beloved color especially in the spring and summer time when it's more likely for my friends to sometimes put on something else than black and white.

Therefore I decided to show you some of my currently favorites from my little collection of pink things.

Music crush: Ella Eyre

It's no secret that I have a big passion about music - I simply love it and can't function without it. I once found an quote on Tumbler that said "headphones in problems out". And it's SO true! Whenever I'm all sad and gloomy I instantly get in a better mood when I listen to one of my good-vibes-only playlist on Spotify. The music just makes my wanna dance, sing and just basically act like I'm in a musical.
In the moment I have a huge music crush on the lovely Ella Eyre, who is (if you don't already know) a British singer and songwriter. You need to listen to her new amazing song "Together" from her new album "Feline" which will come out in less than a month. Now you know what I'm going to buy very soon.
She is best known for single "Waiting all night" with Rudimetal and "Gravity" with DJ Fresh. But all of her songs are super catchy and she have a unique voice I can't get enough of.
Beside of Ella's music let's just take a moment and look at her hair - it's simply gorgeous and perfect.

Insta month #2

Can't believe it's already April! Also this month has definitely gone way too fast. Also a lot of things happened to my: I met so many important and royal people (blog post). I went to Italy and got lots of new clothes and shoes.
I remember like it was yesterday when I've got some beautiful and instagram worthy roses as a gift.
Another thing I had to take a insta picture of was my breakfast: Green juice + newest issue of Elle. That reminds me of my favorite quote "When I first moved to New York I bought Vogue instead of dinner. I just felt it fed me more." -Carrie Bradshaw

Later I went on a ski holiday to Italy with my family. It was great and the weather was fabulous. I must honestly say that I love skiing and it's my favorite sport even though I have ballet classes 3 times at week. There is just something about skiing that makes me love it so much. Maybe it's the speed that you can reach or the control that you have over your skies or maybe just the nature and the amazing view. I don't know, but anyway I seriously love skiing.
So that's what happened to me this month.

A day in my life

After hearing the news that Zayn Malik had left One Direction my soul died inside. Seriously I cried for hours and I'm still not completely over it now. My plan was actually to blog a couple of times this past week but unfortunately life happens and I simply couldn't get it together and write a blog post (or do anything productive in my life). I know that life moves on and so should I to but I still can't think about anything else than 1D.

Right now I'm home but just a couple of days ago I was in Madonna Di Campiglio in Italy with my family. We actually came home yesterday and my plan was to blog while being there but the internet was so poor and my heart was (and still is) broken so I couldn't really do it. Anyways I thought that it would be fun to show you what a typical day looks like for me while I'm on ski vacation.

Road trip essentials

So much is happening right now in my life. A couple of days ago I got a mail from my ballet school with an invitation to a modern ballet show preformed by the Amsterdam ICK. It was an event hosted by the Dutch Royal Family that visited Copenhagen this week. I didn't exactly know what was going to happen but my ballet teacher told us to put on our finest dresses and get all dressed up. So yesterday I went to Copenhagen and guess what - it turned out to be a big event hosted by the Dutch Royal family. The whole Danish royal family, the Danish prime minister, some politicians and a bunch of other important people all in long beautiful dresses and with perfect hair. It was all super glamorous and I honestly fell a little like a princess surrounded by all of the important people. Unfortunately I couldn't really get a picture - I think it would be a little inappropriate.

Anyways tomorrow I'm going to Italy with my whole family for our traditional ski trip. We are going by car and it takes a whole day so it's pretty long. Therefore I decided to show you what I love to bring with me and some essentials when going on a long road trip.

Breakfast ideas

I'm definitely a morning person. For me there is nothing better than waking up super early (also on the weekends) so I can do yoga and have a lot of time to prepare a nice breakfast. If I don't get out of my bed early I will immediately have a bad day. Of course when my alarm starts to ring the first thing that comes to my mind is to go back to sleep. But then I remember that I'm starving and I force myself out in the kitchen so I can make myself a nice breakfast. It's the meal I can't skip - I'm such a big breakfast person. Therefore I decided to share some of my favorite breakfast recipes with you. Even through I have way too much time in the morning I don't like to spend way too long on my breakfast. That's why the recipes are all super easy,  delicious and fast. I would also so that they are mostly pretty healthy.

Banana/Oats pancakes
-Banana
-Egg
-Oats
-Milk
First I put my banana, egg and oats in a bowl and mix it all together with an hand blender. Then I just cook them on a pan on medium heat. If you want to make them sweeter you can add some syrup or honey on top. However the banana is already sweet itself so I prefer them without anything on top.

Alexa's bookclub

I can't hide that I love reading. There is this quote: Reading is dreaming with open eyes. And it's so true. Whenever I'm reading a good book I'm in a whole different world. It's the best way for me to take a break from everything and just think about something different. I love comparing myself to the main character and imagining what I would do. That's why I completely forget the time when I read and also can't stop myself from continue reading the next page (but only if it's a good book ofc).
I must say that I mostly read young adult novels about teen girls, but sometimes I also pick a book like Stephen King's Under the dome or the 2014 bestseller Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl. So I must say it changes pretty much all the time.

I my hectic life I don't get so much time to read that I would wish I had. But whenever I have a moment off I love to grab a good book. Whenever I'm traveling I also love to read. Especially on long trips with an airplane, train or with the car. And that bring me to the fact that I'm going to Italy for skiing. We do that every single year so it's kind of a tradition now. And every time we drive through Germany, France, Switzerland, Lichtenstein and Austria, so it's quite a long trip. That's why I love to bring a good book with me.

Here are some of my favorites:
John Green - Paper Towns
Paul Torday - Salmon Fishing in the Yemen
Sophie Kinsella - Confessions of a Shopaholic
Alice Sebold - The Lovely Bones
Jane Austen - Pride and prejudice
Kiera Cass - The Selection Stories
Jay Asher - Thirteen Reasons Why
F. Scott Fitzgerald - The Great Gatsby
Kathryn Stockett - The Help
John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracel - Let it Snow

Shoe obsession

Since I was a little girl I've had a passion for shoes. I just can't have enough pairs. While having a bad day a brand new pair of shoes can always tear my up. As a little girl I remember getting a pair of toy princes heels. I wore them all the time at home even through I was constantly tripping. Then one day I lost one shoe and my mom throw the other out. I remember crying for hours, I just couldn't stand the fact that I lost my best friends. Shoes have always been a big part of my life.

Here are 10 pairs I'm completely in love with. Oh I wish that I could have them all, but unfortunately I only can get some of them.
I'm going to a school dance soon, so I definitely need a nice pair of black heels. Besides that my mom also promised me a new pair of black loafers since I have worn my old pair way to much. A nice pair of sneakers are also on my shoe wishlist but I have to choose between a pair of Adidas Superstars or Adidas Stan Smiths. The choice is almost impossible but I think I will go with the Superstars.

Tuesday 10 March 2015

3 gold DIYs

I love decorating and organizing my room. Shopping room decorations is one of my favourite things to do in the entire world. However I tend to buy too much and spend way too much on home decor stuff. Therefore I love making small decoration DIY from things that I already have laying around my bedroom. I must be honest with you and say that my style changes constantly. One month I'm all about flower patterns and color, the next month I'm more into a minimalist black/white kind of theme. Right now I'm obsessed with everything gold, from nail polish and jewelry to room decor.
That's why I made this 3 little DIY projects that only requires materials you probably already have at home.

For the first DIY only requires a bulletin board, tape and gold acrylic paint. First you need to put tape from one corner the other corner of the bulletin board. Then paint in between the tape and let it dry. This really adds a lot to your room, especially if you place it on your desk (I did so). I promise you it looks really cool.

Sunday 8 March 2015

In(sta)spiration

When I am bored out in the public, I usually go on my phone and stalk some people on Instagram. During my oh so productive stalking sessions I constantly find new amazing accounts I instantly fell in live with.
They always inspire, motivate my and the pretty pictures makes me so happy.
Here are some of my favorite Instagram accounts I follow:

@blushshop is one of the most perfect accounts I have ever seen. All of their pictures look like they just came out from a pinteres/we heart it page. They are all so bright and lovely!

Friday 6 March 2015

Holographic chic

I'm really into everything holographic at the moment. Probably because it's all around Tumblr and We heart it, which I'm pretty obsessed with. It's definitely not here to stay, but it's super cute and kind of the new "galaxy pattern" if you know what I mean.
I own a pair oh holographic doc Martens, my beloved "moon boots". They are super cool and whenever I wear them, it's like I have a sign above my head that says "Look at me!". However I don't wear them as much as I should.

Tuesday 3 March 2015

Healthy broccoli soup with coconut milk

Every Tuesday I make dinner for my mom and I, today I decided to try something different: a broccoli cream soup with coconut milk.
The soup turned out really well and it was very tasteful. Cream soups are just so good, super healthy and perfect for the cold winter/spring weather.

Insta month #1

And it's already March! This month has definitely gone too fast. I remember like it was yesterday and I sat in the kitchen and ate breakfast. It was the 1st February and my mom baked cake, because it was Harry Styles birthday, and we all know that I needed to celebrate that. The day before I went to Copenhagen Fashion Festival with my friend. We met famous danish and international bloggers and people from the fashion industry. It was a really cool experience and I can't wait to next year.

About a week later I had winter break at school. Most of the time I didn't do anything but one day I actually decided to go outside and get some fresh air. I saw some super cute pink doughnuts, so I had to take an instagram picture. Btw they tasted amazing.
While I had winter break I ordered some stuff from ASOS, including a striped turtleneck and a gold necklace.
Later instead of homework I read the newest issue of Elle. Good job Alexa!
Last weekend I went to Copenhagen to meet with a group of good friends I haven't seen for a while. We went to Joe & The Juice and obviously while the others had juices I decided to get coffee.
Last but not least my favorite fruit of the month must be blueberries. They are so delicious and at the same time healthy! I can't get enough of them, I'm basically eating them all the time.
So that's what happened to me this month.

DIY Tumblr notebook

Since I was a little girl I have always been pretty crafty. In the kindergarten I was the lonely kid that always sat in the corner and draw princesses. Later in school I spend my time sewing small monkeys, pencil cases, pillowcases and decorations. A couple of years ago I even made baskets out of willow and a little chair out of wood. Unfortunately I must say that in the past two years I haven't been as creative as I used to be.
Most of the time I'm busy with homework, violin and ballet classes, but sometimes in the weekends I get a little bit of time where I can develop my creativity.
Lately I've been pretty obsessed with oh so pretty pictures on Tumblr and We heart it. Therefore I decided to make a notebook cover with Tumblr inspired pictures. The best thing about the notebook cover is that you actually can switch it out if you get bored of it.

Monday 23 February 2015

And the Oscar goes to...

Since I live in Europe, it's very difficult for me to watch big award shows like the Oscars, Grammys or Golden Globes. Usually I watch the repeat broadcast the next day, but yesterday (or actually today) I decided to change that. I stayed up all night to watch the Oscars and the red carpet. Literally all night since it began 12.00 am and finished after 6.00 am.
You can say that I had quite high expectations after last years beautiful Oscar dresses. Especially Lupita Nyong'o made a big impression on me with her gorgeous sky blue Prada dress that created an amazing harmony together with her dark skin. Another dresses that I admire from the last years show was Kate Hudson's, Naomi Watts and Cate Blanchett's delightful white/cream dresses.

This year I must honestly say I was a bit disappointed. Of course there was a lot of beautiful dresses but I didn't find one that took my breath away. Although I have chosen five dresses that I liked the most and five that I didn't like.

Beauty on budget: Maybelline

Since I've got my first Maybelline mascara I've been loving the brand. When I was younger it was most because of the colorful packaging that looked like candy on the drugstore shelves. Now, when I'm a broke teenager I appreciate Maybelline both because of its unbeatable price and it's flawless products. I have never been disappointed by anything Maybelline and I honestly think it's one of the best drugstore brands.
I've selected five of favorite Maybelline products that I can't live without.

15 fashion basics

In my opinion the most important items in a girl's wardrobe are good basics. Timeless items you can mix and match several times. If you have your basics you will probably never ever have to say the magic words "I have nothing to wear". With a few basic items it's easy to create a bunch of nice outfits. I have chosen 15 basic items that I think are the key to archive the perfect basic wardrobe.

Cute Iphone 6 cases

I've got the iPhone 6 for Christmas, and I still haven't found a cute case to it. Since I constantly drop my phone, my dad decided to buy me a clear case recently. Which is okay, but kind of boring. Therefore I found a couple of pretty and unique cases, that I seriously consider buying.
My personal favourite is the white marble case, the holographic case and the grid pattern case. They are very minimalistic and super tumblr, which are two things I'm obsessed with in the moment.

Thursday 12 February 2015

Obsessed with orange

Orange - such a lovely and fresh colour. It reminds me of sunrises, carrots and Sunday mornings with eggs and orange juice. Lately I've found out that I own lots of orange things that I quite like. Maybe I'm going into a orange phase right now? I even own a pair of orange pants! Even thought I never wear them, I honestly think that they are quite cool. Paired with a white t-shirt and some black loafers. Hmmm maybe I should consider giving them one more chance?

Right now, while holding my coffee cup, I also realized that my nails are orange. Wait, did I say coffee? One of my new year's resolutions was giving up Starbucks. Seriously I spend a fortune on coffee and other beverages.

Post Winter Wishlist

Winter isn't my favorite part of the year. I hate going outside, so most of the time I sit in front of my computer with a soft blanket and a cup of hot tea, doing absolutely nothing. During one of my oh so productive internet surfing sessions I usually binge watch Netflix, YouTube or spend hours on browsing online shopping websites like ASOS or Topshop. Sometimes I also go on Net-a-porter, but that is usually way too painful, since I can't afford anything.

Tuesday 10 February 2015

My style - 10 items

You probably know my name, and maybe if you're lucky you also know a little bit about me. In case you don't, I'm basically a fashion obsessed teenager writing about my oh so exiting life. So I thought that the best way to start my new fashion blogging adventure is with a "My style"-post. I've selected 10 of my favourite fashion items I own, so you can get an idea of how my brain works and how I dress.

New Balance
I walk a lot, so a pair of classic sneakers are a must have for me. My Black/Navy blue/Green New Balance are my favourite pair I own. They are super comfortable but still look very fashionable and cool.

Who's that girl?

My name is Alexa, and I am basically a teenager living in the middle of nowhere. Okay maybe not really, but sometimes it feels like that.
Anyways, I am fourteen years old and I love spending my afternoon on cleaning and decoration my room. Beside that I'm obsessed with fashion and travel. I also have an unhealthy addiction to blueberry smoothies, Harry Styles and Pinterest.
One day I'll live in a magical NYC penthouse with a dozen unicorns, while writing blogposts all day long, and eating sushi with Anna Wintour and Sarah Jessica Parker. But first I need to finish school and do a lot of other things, so far I can only dream.

I can speak six languages (some of them better than others) and I love math, so you can pretty much call me a nerd. In my mind I'm a very friendly but also extremely shy human. Sometimes people find me annoying because they claim that I'm too positive - I just take it as a compliment. As I said previously I love to dream - about everything between heaven and earth. I get most of my ideas during my daily daydreaming sessions and of course also from the magic of the internet.

This is my blog - a little bit of my and my brain. Lipsticks and lemonades was born on February 10th. It's a place for me to share my ideas, dreams and put some words on my fashion thoughts. I decided to name my blog Lipsticks and lemonades because it's a flawless mix of beauty, fashion, lifestyle and food. Beside that it sounds good in my ears and it's pretty easy to remember.

I really hope that someone out there will take time and enjoy reading my thoughts. Your words always mean a lot to me, so feel free to drop a comment below. Finally I have answered some questions that will help you to get to know me better.
